So, this probably will not fix the problem, but will make it more 'in your face' to those who voted incorrectly.
If I lived in the areas where the principle vote was 'yes', i.e. the Willamette Valley, I would make up a form that states that since you can't carry sufficient rounds to adequately protect yourself / family, that the places you shop or eat at agree to provide adequate protection / guarantee safety for you as a customer. When you enter an establishment, you ask for the owner or manager and ask them to sign the form. If they won't (a pretty good bet) then don't shop or eat there anymore. AND, when you depart peacefully, let all the other patrons know that they won't be protected while inside that establishment either. It is legal and perfectly acceptable, but you must stay civil.
If we do this enough, 'they' just might get the message.
