Darnit these guys are making me want to buy a 3D printer. I was going to wait a few years for the technology to improve but these guys are literally awesome salesmen. I even know a 80% aluminum receiver is superior in almost all respects to a 3D plastic receiver but Darn Darn double Darn I want one now.

A friend of mine just got a Prussa I3 Mk3 ($750 as kit, $1000 assembled) and despite being sent from E. Europe, support has been superb -- they had a replacement part for a bit he mangled while assembling it to his door in 3 days. Original Prusa i3 MK3 - Prusa3D - 3D Printers from Josef Průša

I'd be skeptical of printing gun barrels of course with any of the FDM type printers but there are still tons of useful things to do with one.

Well the only solution is to lock down the internet and prohibit sites like China. Then only outlaws, those with proxies, or those in power get real internet...no internet for the plebes. Give them 1995 AOL or CompuServe...

How very prophetic this was although any gun owner with average intelligence should have come to the same conclusion! It is indeed the path that has emerged, in spades! The main thing that stops this sort of stupidness is action on ALL fronts, not just griping to the choir. No aspersion towards you Aero Denezol, your great! I am mainly directing this to those armchair members (& other gun owners) who leave such things to "someone else" or assume half-hearted efforts will achieve the goal! Voting offenders out of office or recalling them is only temporary at best. Some how or some way, a means needs to be developed to starve the lawmaker beast! (No taxation without proper representation) My idea of a good outcome would be a moratorium on ANY legislation for as long as possible! I know that is a pipe dream however. My view of current state and federal government in the USA is that the bad outweighs the good almost completely! There are very few places left in this world where a person could live without someone or some group desiring to extend control or power over you and taking a huge chunk of your hard earned money! If you luck out and find a spot don't brag about it or eventually they come to fix that! OK, minority conservative old white male guy wishing-for-his-own-private-island-in-no-mans-land stepping down from his soapbox. Over and out....

Like 3D printing is, like, an important issue??? These Socialist Whackos seem to be afraid of their own shadow, when it comes to guns. Wonder what they are planning that is soooo evil, they have to worry about an armed citizenry???

With all their proposed gun control laws, and the consideration of the Cap and Tax Darkness bill, it is clear our legislature is at war with the common citizen.
