Gambling I guess is illegal in OR but got to wonder if Ms. Brown will copy Nevada and "suspend" our native american business's?
Its not totally illegal. Why else do we have so many places with video lottery and lotto sales, as well as Powerball and Keno??? casinos on the other hand, we don't have that outside the Native American reservations

Good points....Nevada did also shut down all "non essential business's" to include bars...where the lottery machines are. I guess convenience stores are safe for now.

Those are Indian reservations ( they are sovereign nations ) I don't believe they have to do anything a State or Federal Gov. says.

Not even remotely surprising what went down in the Silver State, considering social distancing is one of the few tools public health has available at this point. But, man, that industry has gotten to be hurting bad. :(

At least two (Spirit Mountain and Seven Feathers) are already closed down voluntarily, in Oregon.

Agreed. The ban on casinos in most states is spectacularly stupid. The state has no problem denying adults the right to chose how they seek their entertainment, but, wait, if it enriches their own coffers with games of chance with terrible odds, why that's just fine.

Meanwhile here in Oregon. Intel keeps chugging along. They are also sitting on a metric bubblegum ton of PPE I doubt they will donate to the medical field

I wonder how much revenue the state of Nevada collects from casinos each day? Their budget must be in trouble.
