North Carolina man facing federal charges for allegedly bringing improvised shotgun to Seattle protests
Seattle police say they found a homemade shotgun constructed of metal pipes, several 12-gauge shotgun shells and a knife when the defendant was searched after his arrest on Sunday.

NOTE: I presume it was concealed because it was found on him after a search (he threw a Bud Ice at a police officer and hit him in the face while the officer was in his car). If they had to search him to find it, I'm guessing it was concealed, but that is not actually stated in the article. He is being charged with having a destructive device rather than an SBS. Perhaps someone with knowledge about NFA weapons could explain, but it appears it may be because it was never designed to be shouldered:

Recent introductions, like the Mossberg Shockwave, have brought up interesting wrinkles in the laws surrounding shotguns, so here's some navigation help on NFA rules regarding these firearms.
