My wife decided she liked my SR1911 better than her M&P Shield, so we sold her Shield, and then we went in search of a replacement 1911. We found an SR1911 Commander and bought it. She wants to keep the full size one so I get the Commander. We went shooting not too long after getting it (after I brought it home, cleaned it and lubed it). So, here it is and my first mag through the gun.

Congrats! You're gonna' love that commander size.

I carried a lightweight commander size 1911 (Kimber Pro Carry & Para Expert Commander) for years and I think they carry beautifully.
