Actually the whole poll is crazy, you need to make the language used in poll questions neutral as possbile, this one leads like crazy. I don't know why anyone would be surprised that some people feel threated by armed people.

The use of the word "stumblebums" in the poll does little to instill a sense of credibility in the poll, or to attribute any to those who dreamed it up in the first place. It's interesting, however, that the vote is so strongly positive for gun owners; clearly, gun forums like this one help to get the message out.
