We will be cleaning up the gravel pit on Mary’s Peak Road at the Rock Quarry at Mile Post Four where a lot of target shooting takes place and needs our stewardship attention.

Win some awesome prizes in our free raffle! We encourage you to support our vendors who graciously donated to furthering our cause for responsible recreational shooting.

Silent Auction: We'll have a couple special items available for bidding in our silent auction! Help support Trash No Land in our endeavors to save and improve recreational shooting on public lands!

    Contributing Vendors:
Mel's Barber Shop, Cabela's, Peak Sports, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Begg’s Tire and Wheel, ProPrint, Leupold Optics.

We meet at 9 AM, Safety briefing at 9:15, Lunch & prizes at 12 noon. You may stay and play with a group shoot after the event, if shooting is allowed on that date.

    Meeting place:
    Google Maps: Google Maps
    GPS: 44°28'47.2"N 123°32'21.2"W

The USFS will provide the trash bags and BLM with disposal! (Thank you!)

It's a long drive for both of us, Wrench, but it will be worth it! We'll be camping at the site on Sat night. We might get the gate open and camp inside or camp near by. See ya then!

This is what the place looks like. Some good yardage. Especially if you shoot from where I'm standing with the camera. (Just be sure a Sheriff's truck isn't parked there when you shoot!).

    PAYING IT FORWARD!

Two individuals felt it is important that you come to the Marys Peak Cleanup on Sept 23rd, so, they chipped in and purchased a little incentive to help get you there! That's the spirit! Thank you, you two!

Thanks, @Rem700..300 and the other guy who didn't want me to post his name (ha, probably Rem didn't want his name out either!) Too late!

I'll sweeten the deal... I'll throw in a Central Machinery Magnetic Picker to sweeten the pot on this kit. (Now all we need is an EZ Reach picker and we'd have a complete shooters gear kit! (excepting the fire extinguisher.)

One of these kits will be available to win free. Another kit may be available in our silent auction. Either way, you win! I like winning!

We went and did a quick recon of the area yesterday evening since we hadnt been up there in a while. The 4 areas down the 3000 road will fill about a pickup. It didnt look like a lot of shooting trash but crap people just left from camping or partying. Cogs it looked like the one shooting area on the CSP trip with the juice bottles. The main area will probably give the dumpster a run for its money on can it hold all the trash. Pretty comparable to Beaver Dam rock pit but in a more condensed area. Hope to see everyone there. I have 45 Sportsman Warehouse hats for the first 40 people. Thank you Mr. Lund of the Albany Sportsman's Warehouse.:)

Going to be a great weekend. ARPC gun show Saturday in Albany, home Beaver Game Saturday. Mary's Peak clean-up on Sunday morning and then possibly trying out a new toy from the ARPC show in the early afternoon. If not, the old tested and reliable will be used.
