Nice rifle. Shoots good too.
Thanks, you have a nice collection also. They look like great shooters by your 10 shot groups. I think we load the same bullets. 69g Sierra bthp ?

Dude. Where you been?I went with a 18" barrel and midlength gas. The owner of White Oak recommend it for reliability and he knows his products. The accuracy is amazing to me and is light enough for hiking. A Nikon AR 3-12 with bdc s a nice match for it's purpose. The SPR shoots like a long range, heavy bench rifle with much less weight. I wasnt trying to copy the military version but instead make a varmint and yote rifle. It does well at the bench also. The one i used to have before i got out of ARs and any hi cap semis, and registered my GMRS radios.

Generally the longer the barrel the more velocity and more stable the bullet. Generallyso if I want to be accurate to ~400 yards, should I go with an 18" or 20" barrel? I'm planning on 223 Wylde, just starting my build list now.
Be called too good for the military.Well dang it. What would my rifle be called? AR10 shot this group today..:

Probably "lucky"...
Looks great! Welcome to the SPR club... I predict clover leaf groups from that barrel... assuming the shooter is up to it
