I just saw a guy tickled to death that he found a Marlin Camp Carbine for $600. I turned one down ages ago for $200 and I'm thinkin maybe I made a mistake. (I didn't, but economics often change perception)
 
Too high, imho. And as some linked above, they can still be had for less.

It has been a long time since I've done the SKS thing. Ah, the late 90s when they were floating around a C-Note and ammo was ultra cheap. ;)
 
Are you sure it was a Yugo and not a Russian, perhaps super secret special model of Russian sks? Even then, that's steep. I recently saw an outfit selling "hand selected" yugos for $350

ha yeah, i made the drive up there from keizer last night. only takes 25 min. wife had to work and my kid wanted to see the trout and all the mounts there. always worth it when i make my son happy :)

i got some standard cci rated at 1047fps. ya its really quiet suppressed
