Is it corrupt when our universities say that the science is settled? Or how about them not allowing any diversity in political speech? Notice the commonality of the ruling class having a college education and now you can't tell the difference in demand or repub in their governing?

Slaves to .gov the moment they leave college. Burdened with the equivalent of a mortgage right off the bat because no one told them they can make more as a journeyman tradesman and have no debt to boot.

Being a debt slave really gives PC power over you, you won't say anything in fear of losing everything. Political correctness came from our colleges. PC is anti gun

If "the science" is settled, then God is out of the equation. If God is out of the equation, we have no rights endowed by our "Creator" because there is NO creator. The science is settled.

No inalienable rights, then your second amendment rights are a fairly tail from old men who believed in the invisible cookie monster in the sky. Your rights are what WE say they are.

Our institutions of higher learning are America's real problem and they are the ones who will lead the fight to take away your guns. It's higher learning that will nudge the culture of America and change it one word at a time. They spin it or define it but one word at a time they are taking your guns.

No way that anyone would ever get away with saying gun owners are like slave holders and should be shot if they hadn't corrupted the system. Can you get a job in media without a college education?

It is all about power and control. And the people who want this are very arrogant who because of their schooling, or their experience or their supporters THINK they know what is best for a society. Our forefathers were masters of history and its lessons. They were well aware of Greek and Roman history, the growth of philosophy in Europe, etc. They also realized that governments by their very nature seek to gain more and more power over the citizenry. Hence the 2nd Amendment. Male or female, an armed citizen is an affront to the people on both sides of the aisle who desire a docile, unarmed citizenry.

Newsflash, you jumped up pseudo tyrants...ain't gonna happen. Not in this generation.

Brutus Out

Higher education, who else would come up with gun free zones? There is no diversity in thinking in our colleges now so their thinking is like that of an inbred family after generations of inbreeding. All you have to do to see my point is look at the graduation cerimonies, only leftist get to speak.

What career can you have without a college education? It's like a cancer of socialism that infects the entire culture. They will take your guns, they will dumb down the nation and corrupt the politicions to get their way but higher learning is "THE" problem.

For nearly 100 years, the progressive movement has been trying to turn this country into a utopian paradise that ignores human passions, human frailty and human nature. For nearly 100 years they have been trying to ban or outlaw nearly everything in the first two amendments; indeed, even possibly outlawing conservative and libertarian thought. But I am reminded by that which matters most.

We are still here...

So let them talk of "buybacks" and "confiscation." They haven't the money or the testicular fortitude to come and get them. Any talk of this nonsense is just that. Ultimately, they will fail. Just like the failure of all of their other vision-quests toward gaining more power, all while taking individual freedom.

We are still here.... And we aren't going away anytime soon. And neither is anything we believe in.

It's good to know who the enemy of freedom is and in this country it's higher education. They dominate both political powers and the media plus they have a huge amount of control on the culture. They are government funded and have no controls, in reality they control government by having infiltrated those parts of government that control regulatory laws. EPA is a fine example of how even government has to bow down to regulations set by our institutions.

Higher Ed is "THE" problem in America and the biggest threat to your gun rights.

No mention of the mob or unions?
They run everything in this country. They get all the go t money and have their dirty corrupt hands in every industry including the most powerful teachers unions!

You can't deny that most diverse people still want ulitimate payback for slavery.

Education is supposed to have all the answers or give you the ability to think problems out. The existence of unions or the mob shows there is no thinking going on.

JJ, you have a point. I am an engineer by degree.engineers are a'humble' sort, typically lacking the hubris of science in having to alter the laws of nature. Engineers work within the laws of nature to harness it for useful purposes - a practical profession. Where I'm going with this - I started to get an alumni newsletter in the mail from my alma mater engineering school. Political correctness has made it into mainstream engineering education. Every other word in the newsletter was green, sustainability, diversity, third world, giving back, etc etc. The only student projects highlighted were those involving green sustainability focused on solving some third world problem. I imagine those given preference in the acceptance process to get in the school are the students with the flowery essays about solving third world problems. Anyway..

My first remembered encounter of corruption was at junior high school when teachers were using us kids to make a phoney budget. I think if you spend enough time around them it corrupt you too so 2 years makes you a funky but get that masters and there is nothing you don't know.

That mental attitude when corrupted is capable of some evil things like taking away your rights that are in the constitution. I can expand on the thought as to why they think we shouldn't have guns but it is obvious they work with the ruling class to take them away. Where does the ruling class come up with their laws and restrictions?

I would say pretty much everyone in government with a "D" after their name and some with a "R".

This is of course the reason we have the Second Amendment. It isn't about hunting or even protecting your home and loved ones. It is about having the ability to stop a tyrannical government.

Which is one of my points, both sides have been educated by the same institutions so their thinking is pretty much the same.

Perhaps we could say that anyone who denies the truth about base human behaviors and believes "they" can indoctrinate, codify or educate human nature out of the unwashed masses are the real culprits?
