So, I assume it is those who have the desire to move us towards socialism and/or communism will also need us to be dumbed down and disarmed before they can get away with their nefarious deeds.

Seems pretty obvious that 0boma and his ilk are pressing that agenda. Even more obvious when their rhetoric about common sense gun measures make NO sense and will do NOTHING to reduce access to firearms by criminals (stating the obvious here)...

I see it as two different groups - the first being made up of those in the government that really do believe they need us disarmed so they can push more and more on us with less concern of violent resistance. They are empowered by some very powerful wealthy folks with the same agenda. And I don't limit that to just Democrats. I think there are folks in both major parties (as well as minor parties) that really only care about power and control. Any of them are potential candidates for gun grabber status.

Then there is John and Jane Public, specifically the uniformed, emotionally driven, idealistic, Utopian-minded fool that believes an armed society is too dangerous and all weapons (well at least the ones they don't personally like) need to be taken away - at least from you and me, it's awesome if our government overlords are heavily armed. They are the brainwashed masses that buy into the mind games of the elite in politics and actually believe the snake oil they're selling will do what they promise, i.e. taking all guns = complete peace.

The number of people that believe in true freedom and liberty, who respect the price that was paid to earn it for us and understand that that same freedom and liberty is not always a safe and happy place, seems to be dwindling. Such a sad statement.

There is hardly a simple answer to that question. If you're suggesting the Chinese, that is certainly one source, but there are many others. Just look at Common Core, for example, which is being pushed by a handful of liberal elitists like Bill Gates. I don't disagree with you, but I don't know that it can be answered simply, I think it's a very complex web of a variety of sources.

The socialist of academia have infiltrated the government enough that they have power of the purse. They don't need donors when they have willing corruption in government to fund them. Student loans are their power along with huge government grants.

Our education system that controls our culture is corrupt and will bring this country down. Look at what is different, changes in America and where did it come from? PC came from higher education, our kids have all been dumbed down and you can't get a government job without a college education.
