I vaguely recall they were called the "Sledgehammer" or some such, in case that helps with your search. I'm not seeing it on their site now, but I've seen the uppers pop up from time to time in the used market.

I've been looking at these for cowboy action, but been told by some old salts that the Lightnings are very case length finicky, but gosh a 45 ACP would be nice. How about a companion 45 ACP built like the Colt 1903 pocket hammerless? Great lockup, no hammer bite, John Browning tack driver.

I hear ya. A very compact .44 Magnum AR would be a nice companion to the wheelguns so chambered.
