Well a true gun snob wouldn't want anything to with replicas or reproductions.
Nor those nasty mixed parts guns of the 80 % lineage .

Their gun must come only from the high holy factories of the Pre-64 Winchester , pre-war Colts and Smith & Wessons may also be considered.
Not to forget the cult of Mauser , Marlin and Remington ( pre-buyout )
( *Sarcasm * )

That or they think their gun is far better than anyone else's , no matter the other persons needs , experiences or wants...

Just kidding ... Well except for that last sentence.:D
Andy
The last sentence would be the "Just kidding" right? Or are you just kidding about just kidding? o_O

:p

Ok, you bought a Hi-Point.
What are you going to do with it? If you take it out to a public range, most people are going to think you are some cheap bastard, and if you take it to some private ranges, you will just provide most of the people there with a good laugh. Dressing it up by having money printed on it does not make it any better.

I think you've just listed most of the reasons he bought it. :D

Gun snobs are kind of like Harley snobs. If a gun shoots reliably, you can hit with it, you like it, who gives a bubblegume what anyone else thinks? I don't. A lifetime no questions asked warranty doesn't hurt either.

For the record, not wanting to be caught dead with a Hi Point wrapped in Benjamins doesn't make you a gun snob.

That's kinda like saying that if you aren't attracted to a 350lb, wart-faced old bat on a broom you care too much about looks.
