How do you Become a Certified Armorer

    I was just looking for info on how to become a certified Armorer? Classes or schools around the NorthWest? Thanks :)

    Check factory websites, usually in LEO training etc. Call them and see if they will let you in. I have been to several LE armorer classes that also had gunsmiths in them. For example:

    Attending armorer classes are a good thing, but even the classes that are attended can be suspect.

    Some classes give certificates of attendance, where some certify one to work on the specified firearm that the class represents.

    Some armorer classes are hard to get into, as they are geared for LE only. Check out AGI, they have the video series that gives a certificate at the end of the course.

    Check the specific web site of the firearm you are interested in, and see if they post any info. If not, give them a call.
