Being a political prisoner in the socialist republic of wa, I have no idea about oregone. Mine was issued 3 yrs ago in our little town, and was handled by my city police dept clerk. From application to BG check to issue was about 10 days. I was quite surprised to hear that, even in ultra liberal Hooterville, they were processing an average of 5 applications per day. I would guess that in your state (depending on county/jurisdiction) it might take twice that long, given the current political climate.
Good luck!

I doubt it will take 3 months. Utah has been pretty quick. I would think more in weeks than months.
I agree. The wife has the Utah permit, midway through her second 5 years and they have always been what you'd consider "Normal". Her last re-up she had some issues with the photo we took. They were really friendly and helpful. I can't see it taking 3 months. Just call them. They actually are likely to answer the phone! The 2nd Amendment means something in Utah. Unlike the West Coast states.

Marion county. My packet for Utah was sent last month and I was told it takes 3 months to hear back from them. How long will it take for Oregon to process? My appointment is Monday.
In Deschutes county my wait time was about 2 weeks for the initial license and about 4 days for renewals. Utah took less than a month about 2 years ago. May have fewer resources to process requests now that Utah is now a constitutional carry state.

Is that just new? And means no need for a concealed carry permit for residents of the state?
Utah passed constitutional carry in 2021 I think. The specifics vary slightly by state, but generally means that you don't need a permit. They still process permits for Utah citizens traveling to other states.

Excellent! Utah is my home state, so still have feelings for it. ESPECIALLY with what our Northwest states are turning into.

I'm not sure if I should laugh, cry, or be offended.

I just renewed my Oregon CCL in Washington County and I live in Pacific County Washington. Took an appointment and 30 minutes. Quick and easy. Utah is slower.

They want an updated photo.

With their new renewal process, you have to watch a suicide prevention video and if you watch on your smart phone, you can take a digital photo for submission.

Utah does? If so, that must of been because of the progressive garbage creeping into Utah from both sides. West coast and Colorado. It's a mental disease infecting formerly "normal" states. A video on not commiting suicide! Figures.
