This somewhat confusing article, which has appeared in several media outlets, says federal officials have determined that grizzly populations in the Yellowstone and Glacier areas are no longer endangered, possibly allowing for grizzly hunts after another year of "further study." But all of the quotes of federal officials seem to indicate they are against hunts.

 
They have so much livestock damage in Montana they need to let people hunt them! But we probably won't see that for some time unfortunately
It would not be my idea of a good time, but for those who want to do it, I say, "Go for it!!"
 
Thats why my 1885 Winchester in 45-70 has a 32" barrel to keep that dang thing farther away from me as I try to jack in another round. LOL. 405 gr modern 45-70 HOT load would be my Grizzly smoke pole.
