The Biden Administration has proposed a plan to establish a population of 200 grizzly bears in North Cascades National Park. Public comments are invited thru Nov.

If they get enough apex predators in the woods they won't have to allow hunting. Or should I say they will conveniently have to shut down hunting to protect (insert species here). That is their goal, IMO.

Wonder how many neon clothed hikers will have to be mauled before it's determined it's a bad idea again.
Not to worry!! They'll simply post, "Do not eat the long pigs or other domesticated animals" signs. Problem solved!! :s0155:

Signage keeps all the criminals from criminalling... ergo... o_O

Dang, that's what Israel needed more of to keep Hamas at bay. Signs!

"No raping"
"No kidnapping"
"No beheading"
"No torturing"
"No bombing"

Why didn't they think of that before!

could release them in the homeless camps. Bears gotta eat, and they will
Yeah.... that would be something! "You are what you eat"... and just imagine a 600lb grizzly whacked out on a fentanyl and opioid cocktail. :s0140:

The poor thing would obviously be the victim and any surviving family members would sue for animal cruelty and wrongful death. :D

The plan is to eliminate hunting via predators. Griz, wolves, cougars. Then push gun control because you don't need any guns if you can't hunt. The only solution is kill every wolf an bear they drop off. Prove a point enough is enough. No other possible outcome available as voting is corrupted and the game dept owned by liberal nut jobs.

The plan seems to be in direct conflict with the original goals of the national park system:

"Officially, the purposes of the park system, and by inference its management policies, are best summed up in the 1916 act that established the National Park Service. In now familiar words to all who have studied the parks and their management, the new agency was charged "to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations."

Some might consider the establishment of a grizzly population as a bit of an impairment.

National parks are not wildlife refuges, nor are they wilderness areas. We have those elsewhere. National Parks were intended for human enjoyment.

Just MHO.

No doubt! But of course.... the bears will all be provided with land usage maps and will remain within their designated boundaries... right!? :s0155:

Other than the wannabe tree hugger warm fuzzies over increasing the predatory bear population, it serves no positive purpose. The detrimental affects are certainly more pronounced. Like... the currently adjusted ecosystem, animal and fish populations, domestic animals and populated rural area incursions.

But when you live in the big city and never set foot off pavement... who gives a rats patootie if it screws things up for the outdoor types, ranchers, farmers or rural populations(?) After all... if people aren't smart enough to move to a big city and stay within their confines... they were practically begging for trouble and their own fault if a bear crosses their path. Right(?)

On the other hand. It will sure do wonders for firearm sales within the state! Well played!!👍
