Great article and timely following up having just watched last night You Tube videos put out by Forgotten Weapons on the doubles. Not that I am a hunter or have deep pockets, but would love to own even one of the more stock versions that were available in the Army Navy stores. Just as a conversation piece, and to occasionally shoot. It aligns well with my early fascination with imperial England, Africa and the mystic of the Hemingway-esque ideal of a man's man.Well written article on double rifles.
