Wichaka is the only LEO I'd put some trust in. I do not know him very well but what I do know I respect.
"All lawyers are thieves."
"What about your lawyer?"
"Oh, he's different."

My question is what, if anything, has been done to the officers who actually opened fire and pumped 103 rounds into an unidentified target that turned out to be 2 innocent civilians? How is the LAPD going to try to prevent this from happening in the future? (Remedial vehicle identification? Racial/Gender sensitivity training to discern the differences between two hispanic females and one 6' plus 300 lb african american male former police officer?, Remedial hunter safety, IDENTIFY your target before firing, know your backstop? Remedial marksmanship training so that more than 2 out of 103 rounds fired actually strike the intended target, even if it is the wrong one?) Why is the media completely silent on this outrageous act and so willing to allow the LAPD coverup of their incompetence and corruption. All it does is lend credence to what Doerner had been complaining about.
No Plans to visit California again. Ever.

LAPD shooting in ex-cop manhunt violated policy
"A civilian oversight board has determined that eight Los Angeles police officers violated department policy when they mistakenly opened fire on two women during the manhunt for rogue ex-cop Christopher Dorner."
It took a civilian oversight board this long to determine that those officers violated department policy when they opened fire on two women delivering newspapers with absolutely no connection nor any similarity to the person being sought? Clearly a board appointed by Democrats. I wonder how long it will take before they announce the discipline for the officers involved. Probably will announce the discipline as soon as the youngest officer involved retires from the force. And what about criminal charges, such as assault with a deadly weapon? Or are these cops such bad shots that their firearms are not considered deadly? This entire case has set law enforcement back 100 years as now a majority of citizens are as afraid of the cops as they are of the criminals without badges.Follow up - to Posts 226 - 233 above
