Which M1?I want an M1 and an stg-44. Other than that a barrel or two for my savages.
Garand. Sorry. Not a carbine fan. Uncle used one at the end of WWII and said it just didn't stop determined people like Japanese soldiers.Which M1?

A Garand is high on my list too, along with a FAL, to complement my M1A. I've got a thing now for classic battle rifles.
Got an M1A on layaway myself right now. Something about that Garand-style action that is just too cool
Oh yes, that authoritative heavy CHING! When you release the bolt does the speaking. Plus, in all the rounds I've put through the it I've never had a malfunction. Solid and reliable.
Which M1?
The ammo that was used in the Garand back then isn't available anymore commercially, I've been told. Modern ammo might feed differently and are also higher (too high) pressure.
Any Garand Guru comments on this?
