I'm in the same boat as you Jim. I will not stay in WA for the long haul because of this madness.

I understand that historically the diplomatic method of patience and termperment of words with liberals was beneficial in finding common ground. When these people are continually coddled to the point that we lose all control, in which we are on the brink now, this is what we get. Are there any serious politicians out there that are prepared to call out these traitors for what they are??

dont blame the politicians for gun control...its what "you the people" collectively vote for, if you dont vote democrat you wont get your gun control
is there really anyone that doesnt understand a vote for democrats is a vote for gun control??

seriously

Thanks for that, we will likely not retire in Wa, although we have our first grandchild on the way and they plan to stay, I cannot (will not) stay and be persecuted for beincg a law abiding gun owner any longer.:mad::mad:

You and your wife can move to AZ with me and mine! Buy a couple hundred acres and start a compound with a shooting range in the middle! :p:D

Two of my Reps are flaming anti-gun zealots & one is a staunch 2A supporter (yes I check his voting record often over the years).

Rural Wa where I live is heaven with rivers, forests and fresh air to soothe the savage soul. But the political influence has infected the Department of Fish and Wildlife which has drop the ball and we are now left with baron Rivers and forests due to mismanagement of resources they swore to protect:mad::mad::mad:

Only if I can get an air conditioned suit for when I go out of the house or the shop. You do know that it gets over a hundred degrees down there, right? This caveman will melt in that oven they call US state.....:eek::eek::D

First off its only hot there three months out of the year. Second who the he!! said it was going to be an outdoor range!!:D

You guys see it all the time but let me make the point that every regulation is a tax, dems luv your money and find a way to tax their agenda into you life. They make you pay for what they want. Look at oregons registration bill, we had to pay dealers to register our guns. It's a tax and democrats love taxes, not one democrat voted for the big Trump tax cut, they don't want you to keep your money. They should change the demorat party name to Revenuers. It' not a lic but a tax.

The Republicans have had a stacked deck for a year and yet no salvation. Another problem is there haven't been any voting by the public. Just these Acts stuffed down our throats. This is not proper governance, shocking but true.

Gun grabbers have no fear or a soul. Still the only way is through recall (we'd need 150,000 votes to start a measure to get rid of Kate Brown) or wait for another election. Pressure helps slow down the effects but there's too much money on the other side.

Just watch as now that our fed taxes went down the state will raise them with more anti gun anti hunting regulations. Every democrat voted to raise our taxes with Obamacare yet not one voted for a tax break. If you want more money and the state off your back then make a choice for less taxes.o_O

This is typical for the Obstructionists and Anti-Gun folks! Wanting to take more money from we citizens and promoting their cause! For example I was in Chicago two months ago and they had imposed a Sugar Tax on anything they had Sugar in it. The citizens rebelled and got the law retracted! :D
If it was a Coke with so many ounces the Tax was figured on the amount of Sugar was in it. As well as all other products containing Sugar. Cookies, Pies, and others. So doesn't surprise me that the Commiefornia mentality has drifted North into Washington and Oregon. The sportsmen and women of the North need to stand up with some major resistance and contact and write their representatives.
This would only be a start and shoe in the door for the Anti-Gun liberal socialists!

Just saw on MyNorthwest.com that Dems are pushing a yearly permit to own a rifle. It doesn't get any more specific than that. Not to mention a proposal to repeal our state constitution preemption clause so municipalities can enact their own gun laws.

Crazy.

Just more "common sense" "gun safety" legislation by the "inclusive" party...

They already have lists for every gun purchase at the FFL where the guns are bought. Yeah right, they claim that they do not have a pistol registry!!!
You didn't think that all that paperwork was just gonna get tossed into a dark dank filing cabinet somewhere did ya?:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Registration --> Permits/Permission --> Confiscation

This is the State turning inalienable rights into State granted permissions.

How does a tax on anything that already exists and in someone's possession make it safer? Let me answer. It doesn't and it can't. It's just free money to some government official.

In their minds it does, because you tax things you want to discourage and in their minds fewer guns (in the hands of law abiding citizens) make it safer. This is how little the Statists think of their citizens; citizens can't be trusted with guns and only the State can.

Exactly like the British back in the day!!!! Do they really want to play that game again???:eek::eek::eek:o_O

What dem#sses are starting this crap? Can anyone name names? Districts? I'm sure wherever they are from, there are some NWF members there that would be happy to give them a call and tell them what us law abiding citizens think about their excrement:mad:. They are public "servants". As far as I know their names and office numbers can be posted here?

Wait. Wouldn't they need some sort of list or database to enforce that? Hmmm.

They will require any new purchase to have a permit

It then makes it very easy to deny permits. Denying firearm ownership is a little difficult. But denying a permit is easy.

Like in Hawaii, you have to give the police access to your medical records to get a permit. If you have any history of mental health issues then you need clearance from your doc. Kaiser out here (and anywhere else this would be instituted) does not clear anyone for any reason. They just flat out refuse. Instant firearm ban for life in that state.
