He might beat the charges, but won't survive the ride.

He may not be someone everybody likes, and he may have said things that caught the attention of the ATF (such that they wanted to make an example of him), but I don't think that deserves what the ATF is going to put him thru. I hope his fund me gets enough $ to get him a really good legal team and the result makes the ATF lose - preferably so badly that they think twice about doing this to anybody else.

The whole thing is that if they are successful against these guys, who will they go after next?

I hardly believe this had anything to do with supporting 'our rights'.

Matt Hoover had a what seemed like obsession with Auto Key Card, which led to some sort of 'odd' relationship/sponsorship with them, then had an involvement with a go fund me account to benefit THEM (set up by someone named Erica) with her making this statement on the go fund me page: (Take note of the part about the money being transferred into 'Matt's account')

Hi my name is Erica. I am from Wisconsin. I set up this account the funds will be transferred into Matt's account (also a friend) Justin asked that he takes responsibility of this. I am a friend of Kris Ervin (goes by Justin). This money will be used to help put his life back together. All money that is raised will be going to help kris. Matt will be sending cashiers checks and collecting invoices so you know the funds are not Misappropriated or used for nefarious purposes.

Call it as you see it and believe what you want but quite frankly this all has the appearance of an elaborate 'scam' under the guise of someone (or more) trying to 'work' a Youtube channel for their own benefit and it didn't quite go the way they had planned and someone (Matt) took the fall - and all under the illusion of a 'supporting an 'our rights' pretense.

Until I started to watch Youtube channels a couple years ago I had no knowledge of CRS firearms, Key Card etc., and never saw any of these people on any public venue promoting anything 'gun rights' related.

While I have seen several Youtube gun channels that appear to be very sincere in their message, much more intelligently (and professionally) produced, I hardly saw any of this with CRS, and considered him to be nothing more than someone trying (and not too successfully) to work 'impressionable' (and gullible) Youtubers to his own benefit.
