There is a thread "2nd Civil War" I think it's called. There were a lot of good points brought up. It got me to remember Christopher Dorner. Ok, not my hero. But tactically, one person put Southern California on lock down, as far as law enforcement. His story has been disappeared and buried never to be mentioned again.
He is a scumbag murderer of innocent people, without a doubt. However, he called out the people he was otherwise looking for and directed his attacks toward them. In his wake he managed to control several counties of law enforcement seemingly without support and those yelling, you can't take on the government should change their slogan to, you can't take on the government for long, single handed with a broken truck in the woods.
He was what they feared. Someone that didn't fear them. He had the dreaded AR15 and who knows what else. But a single driven person brought a fair bit of destruction to governments door step. Imagine what a group of motivated men has the potential to do.
