To those guys traveling through CA with MG's and other NFA items. If you get pulled over and they're discovered in a traffic stop, you're most likely gong to loose them regardless of what paperwork you have. California has historically ignored federal laws such as the Firearm Owners Protection Act safe passage provision. Whilst generally they don't charge people, they will confiscate items and won't give them back. I even seen this happen with regular non-NFA firearms too.
