Does that help you?
It's a song from an old San Fran radio comedy troupe called Firesign Theatre, akin to Monty Pythons radio hour on the beeb. I used to listen to them in the 70's.
Tried hard to find a link to the vaudevillian-like chorus line, but with wife and daughter clamoring for attention, did not succeed.
Sorry @tac, not trying to interrogate you there at all.
Edit to add, and the irony of it all, in the Venn diagram of associations, one circle I grew up among a firmly believed in astral projections and what-not.

Nae bother, Jimmy.

Sad day for Canadians. What I will be interested to see is how the gun owners get around it. California gun owners were faced with a similar list in 1999 but through litigation and technological creativity avoided most of the laws' effect for years. Then California went back to the drawing board and tightened things up. And still Franklin Armory figured out which options were still available and came up with the Title One, a California legal semi auto AR "firearm" with a regular magazine release and two pistol grips. I expect Canadians will have a similar process of creativity.

The f'in idiot Liberal government even banned AR15.com (as a prohibited weapon) and a locksmith ...

Of course, the spineless bastards let the native indians keep all their guns - you know - "for traditiional hunting purposes".

At the end of the day Canada gets what it deserves. They keep voting in these idiot governments.

Well at least we still buy all our lumber there.

Joke because we spend billions putting out our non-logged forests when they burn every year.

The list includes:

Ar-15.com
China Lake
TOW missiles

Among more nonsensical items. Yes, the website AR-15.com counts as an assault weapon.

Apparently a FB group as well (though I'm not sure I'm opposed to banning FB);

I'm sorry for you guys, you are in for a fight, and it will embolden many here to attempt the same.
Like 20mm or larger are used in crimes? Or any 50 BMG or larger?

I note the HK UMP and MP-5 are not included in the list, but the Beretta CX4 is?
The Galil is not forbidden, nor is the Uzi ?
Don't be so quick to point out their oversights - what they don't know helps us.

There goes my plan of moving to Canada to legally buy a TOW missile. I guess my evil empire will have to be content with sharks with frickkin laser beams on their heads.

2 years granted in to current owners. 2 years to dispose of their AW's. Again without detail how do you dispose of firearms in Canada? Can you sell them over the border ? I don't think so. Can you sell them within Canada? Can you still continue to use in the next 2 years or is that a symbolic you can hold onto them for 2 years to say goodbye with no using them ?

I don't know how a country can move so fast to ban something - Do they not have courts this has to go thru, citizens voting and such?

Captjack
Guess they don't have a Second Amendment to protect those God given rights... Go figure...

And a large cross section of Americans would stand in line to give there's up just to comply with an illegal law... Wait for it, it's coming.

@arakboss is correct, globally there's a lack of appetite for Liberty... Even here, in our own country, there's less and less of an appetite for Liberty and more and more of an appetite for Socialism and Government task masters.

Doesnt look like fal's and M1a's are on the list, amongst others. Looks like mainly ar15 type weapons.

You may be correct about the FAL. I see FN products on the list but not specifically a FAL. But doing a quick Google search. FAL's are already banned from previous laws.
