Its clickbait at its finest, but I have to admit my pulse increased by 20 bpm when I saw the headline.

Reminds me of the time I was in 5th grade, working on our school's newspaper. I wrote a tiny article about a 6th grade class making magazines for an art project, my initial headline was "Making Mags" but the editor didn't like it because she thought people would read the article thinking it was about mag wheels for BMX bikes (I'm old).
My reply was, so you want people to read the article or not?
I made clickbait before there was even an internet.

My first thought was 'S&W isn't dumb enough to do that again'.

I remember that the shooting community was unhappy with SW in the 90s because of support for the ban, and that SAAMI drug their heels approving the standardization of .40 S&W.

I went looking for a web page with that story, but could not find one.
