It's looking that way:
Chechnian - confirmed
Terrorists - confirmed
Muslim - The younger brother reportedly listed Islam as his religion on Facebook. It's also been reported by cnn and Breitbart.

I don't think any of us hillbillies are going to get excited and start rounding up Muslims.

Yea, that would work about as good as a gun ban.

Off topic somewhat but what the police are doing and how its being reported is driving me nuts. You you tell citizens to stay in their homes because one guy is on the loose? Everyday in a large city of Boston's size you will cross paths that is capable of the same amount of violence as these guys. People need to be getting on with their lives and working to make a living. I'd be out doing my normal task regardless what the police say.

On the radio this morning I heard a report that SWAT was going door to door and one woman reported she looked out her back window and saw SWAT going thru her backyard. The report's comment was, "Private property doesn't mean anything in times like these." What type of slippery slope is that. Damn people are becoming dumber every year.

So what would happen if you told the police that they did not have your permission to search your house without a warrant?Could they come in anyway? This door to door search is thier foothold to doing this sort of thing anytime the fuzz is looking for any fugitive.I believe this is the first step to the loss of our right to privacy.I realize they need to find this scumbag, but this search,if mandatory,is a huge violation of rights.Pay attention to this event people, won`t be long and it will be commonplace in our soon to be socialist society.

It is commonplace. And there are probably laws/ordinances in your town that gives LE the ability to do so. To hell with Your Constitutional rights.

The million-dollar question rhetorically being asked around the Internet is "how many of the million-plus Boston residents who have been ordered to stay home and lock their doors are now wishing they owned a gun?"

The follow-up question is how this event of an armed terrorist on the loose around Boston will increase the demand for guns nationwide, give birth to new guns owners, and more specifically how many new gun owners in and around Boston will there be?

Rumor has it that King Obama and crazy Uncle Joe Biden already have their panties bunched up.

On April 19, 1775 the citizens of Massachusetts engaged the British Army, starting a war with the Greatest Military of its time. On April 19, 2013 the citizens lock themselves in their home because of one man and a pressure cooker.

Saw a photo with a caption saying "police escorting woman to safety", when in reality she was being ordered out of her own home so police can barge in without no warrant, plus she was weeping hysterically probably because the cops had their guns trained on her.

The media are active, willing promoters of the police state.

Read a similar thing on police searching a shed. This is another reason to put hazardous material placards on your doors. Keeps those trespassers on their toes.

I understand looking in yards when its a very narrow search. Not the size of the search they're conducting. Sadly, people are happy about this.

I could actually see LEO jumping fences and going threw yards to catch the bad guy. But nosing around looking into windows, heck no! Its private!!!! And heck no to barging into peoples house with threat of violence and arrest if you did not comply!!!!!!

4th Amendment

Edina native, woman from Minn. in middle of high-stakes hunt for Boston suspect | StarTribune.com

"...Kitzenberg's father, Lee, said he was getting updates from the son he described as "in shock" from all the mayhem around him. Andrew was hustled out of his apartment so quickly by police that he left his cell phone behind, the father said.

Lee Kitzenberg said he's glad he only found out later that Andrew had been snapping photos for two to three hours from a window.

"That does sound like Andrew," the father said. "He likes the extreme sports."

Marrer said their apartment was one of many on the street that was sprayed with bullets as the older suspect was killed overnight. She said that they didn't realize at first that bullets had penetrated their home as they were sleeping.

"The gunfire came within 15 feet of our bed," she said. "That's close enough for us, yeah."

As they wait out the tension outside as the lockdown stretches well into the afternoon, Marrer described the scene as "very surreal. ... We are watching the national news feed everyone else is, and it's happening right around the corner for us."

She said police have come to their home and collected bullets and snapped photographs. ..."

Too bad they couldn't have been killed by a female home owner using a legaly purchased AR-15, or a CCW holder. Biden and the news would lose their minds:gun09:.

They say that the older brother had burns on his torso consistent with explosives. I think the burns are from the exhaust pipes under that Mercedes that his brother ran him over with:)

Viewing photo of dead suspect cathartic for some law enforcement officers - Boston.com

"... The image of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, dead and naked on a slab, snapped by an unknown person, was e-mailed repeatedly by law enforcement officers Friday.

"Suspect 1" was written above the gruesome picture.

Seeing a photo of one of the Marathon bombing suspects dead was cathartic, said one law enforcement official who saw the picture.

Passing it around was a rare chance "to revel" while other officers searched for Tsarnaev's brother, Dzhokhar, the official said. "Mission accomplished. We're halfway there. Justice is served." ..."
