Bergara B14 Rifle, AICS 5 round magazine disassembly?

Just arrived, and when pushing the cartridge plate down it does not come up completely at the bullet end, sticking/rubbing on something I suspect.
How is the magazine disassembled? I can't find anything online. I don't want gouge it if it needs returning.
Thanks,
Teis

Did that, and the push down multiple times. Any gentle expansion of the frame releases bullet end hangup each time. Thought I should have a look inside.

Called local Sportsmans Warehouse this morning and happened to get someone familiar with the Bergara polymer magazine. He said opening requires prying up the tab like portion at the bottom, then the cover slides off. Patience prevailed, decided to just return it.
