I hate to read they have to shooter in custody at crap like this. Shooter should be room temp. So now we get to support him for the rest of his life. Huge waste of money.

Unfortunately, in this day and age, too many individuals vent their anger issues by murdering as many others as possible. With a firearm. Which leads to unwarranted legislative restrictions on the law abiding gun owning community. Look for a future proposed ban on lasers.

Don't be surprised if the media or antis still use this event as a reason to ban AWs. If 11 or 12 people were shot and most survive some will use that as evidence that AWs are more lethal and should be restricted.

Chopping block, probably. If there is anything worse then somebody blinding pilots with lasers, it's somebody blinding pilots with lasers while looking at the pilots misery through their laser scope.

The gunman's sister Tameka Martin told WBEZ that he had worked at Henry Pratt for about 20 years before losing his job about two weeks ago. The gunman's mother told WGN: 'My heart goes out to all the victims and their families.'
According to witnesses, Martin had arrived for work at 7am like he would on other day, but then after lunch walked down an aisle of the warehouse , shooting 'everybody' with a pistol that had a laser scope attached to it.
So shes not even sad her brother/son did this? just sad other people were hit (which is unfortunate) but no compassion for a sibling who chose a dark path?.

On the 14th of this month, she was talking all about gun control big time.
Unfortunately this is one of the leading causes of a mass shooter at work is a former disgruntled employee. Don't know why he was let go from work but I would guess either the work flow required headcount reduction or he may have been exhibiting signs of worry so they decided to let him go. Could also have been conflict of interest with other employees since he went HAM on them instead of management.

There has been talk by many politicians of banning lasers for civilians as it makes the weapon more "deadly".
