Just curious. Does PIR still have drag racing? It's been several years for me, but that used to ease the street racing. I did it when I was young, in closed industrial parks on weekends. No one was getting shot back then.

Yup open drags are usually Friday sat I'm not exactly sure when the track opens for that tho

Obviously, the local PD is struggling with funding and manpower, attempting to shift responsibility for policing to citizens.

It appears as if it is everyone's responsibility to prevent these gatherings. In the article Chief Chuck Lovell is quoted as saying, "As a city, we must work together to hold those committing these illegal street takeovers accountable."

Well, we will get right on that, Chief. If we stop that sort of thing from happening we'll be subject to woke laws and civil litigation for being viewed as vigilantes.
