I tried doing the wire stocks but I don't like them. They look good and all it's when you use it.

The VZ stocks are significantly better than the AMD stocks in that regard. Neither bother me though.

This, High quality product that wont break the bank. Id say rs regulate side mount is the way to go but for the money this is the best.

I do too, but only with a Micro.

The Russian PK-A Venezuela sights are pretty good red dots and are side mount compatible. They are rock solid.. Say nyet to non combloc optics on AK's.

All these different optic mounting options for the AK will put the optics at different distance from the eyes, some red dot/holo optics you might not want too close to your face, like the side mounts. Some red dot/holo optics are designed to be a little farther away from face.

These are what I used on my AK. Highly adjustable depending on what parts you get. I used them to mount a 1949ish vintage Lyman Alaskan.
