projectile
A projectile is any object thrown by the exertion of a force. It can also be defined as an object launched into the space and allowed to move free under the influence of gravity and air resistance.Although any object in motion through space (for example a thrown baseball, kicked football, fired bullet, thrown arrow, stone released from catapult) may be called projectiles, they are commonly found in warfare and sports. Mathematical equations of motion are used to analyze projectile trajectories.
This bullet is advertised as a round nose but looks more like a small flat nose with radiused edge.

There are some decent deals on cast bullets for those who don't cast their own. If you order, try using code offer66666 for free shipping. That code is supposedly a one time use code per account. I have not tried it yet so I can't confirm whether or not it works...
I will be using my smokeless powder muzzleloading 50 Beowulf project as an example for this question. In that project, the bullet was loaded just in front of the case mouth by an 1/8" or so. I had no way of measuring pressure of that load but let's pretend that it was 25,000 PSI. If I had only...
Im still fairly new to reloading and have never reloaded 223 but have a project in mind to develop a hunting load in the AR15 platform depending if its reasonable.
Is there a maximum projectile length that will work in an AR15 magazine for .223?
More specifically, this 73 grain Hammer Hunter...
How much does 1/10th grain affect accuracy/precision in projectile weights?
Most of my supply weighs + or – 1/10th than nominal and Ive been only using the exact nominal weight to develop my load recipe... and running low. Im trying to decide if I need to buy more bullets to finish my load...
