22-long-rifle
Firearm Caliber
The cartridge is often referred to simply as .22 LR ("twenty-two-/ˈɛl/-/ˈɑr/") and various rifles, pistols, revolvers, and even some smoothbore shotguns have been manufactured in this caliber. The cartridge originated from the Flobert BB cap of 1845 through the .22 Smith & Wesson cartridge of 1857, and was developed by the American firearms manufacturer J. Stevens Arms & Tool Company in 1887 by combining the casing of the .22 Long with the 40-grain bullet of the .22 Extra Long. For many decades, it has been a very popular cartridge around the world. It is one of the few cartridges that are accepted by a large variety of rifles, as well as pistols. The .22 Long Rifle and related cartridges (.22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Extra Long) use a heeled bullet, which means that the bullet is the same diameter as the case, and has a narrower "heel" portion that fits in the case.

Remington 22 LR Golden Bullet
Ammo was part of an estate inheritance. It appears to be in decent condition. When I picked it up, it had been stored in ammo cans inside a large gun safe. Still has plastic shrink wrap on it. No trades & no shipping, please. See attached photos and text or...
Not sure if this is the right section or not. I have 3 magazines that I am pretty sure are for a Mossberg rifle. I've tried to ID them but want to be sure. Yes, they will end up for sale somewhere.
I have been told 140/150 series by one person and a 300 series by another.
Here are some...
So I took my 10 year old daughter to the range with me the other day and let her shoot my 10-22T off the bench. She loved it and now wants to go shooting again. The 10-22 is too big for her, so I'm thinking about getting a compact/youth rifle for her. How are the cricket rifles for small framed...

Thank you.

Hello all,
Well it's official, my offer on a house was finally accepted!!! Thank goodness. I have the ability to pull out money against my 401k to cover all the costs of closing, but I would prefer not to do that for obvious reasons. I emptied out both safes yesterday and made some really hard...
