Just received mine, I can highly recommend this setup
bought the legs at Home Depot
added hanging straps and an AR500 30" target from Sportsman's Warehouse
no more over penetration with my steel core Mosin ammo
I also like the portability, can bring it in every night after shooting

Have a few similar setups. If we lived on suitable land to safely shoot on, I'd just set them up & leave them. Like Hicock45.

No real need to take them down. Rust wouldn't be an issue likely for years, probably well beyond their true useable lifespan from nicks, repeated hits, dimples & such.

IMO.

but I like to shoot pistol up by the house, HP rifle down by the big berm and .22LR down our field
we also have the problem of shifting sunlight
our summer shooting area is in perpetual shade all winter long
and if one needs to carry their targets out to remote shooting areas on public lands, this is a good setup, fits in the back of a Subaru

That makes sense. Or buy more hahahah!

Yah, the ones we have do make for quick & easy transportable setups.
and I'm looking forward to a snowy day so I can plant the AR500 down in our Forest and play Russian Eastern Front with my Mosin sniper rifle

someone up on the North Fork off Jenny Creek Road must have also acquired a steel target setup this week
for 3 days now I've been hearing " BANG --CLANG BANG -- CLANG"
yet no one has called the Sheriff's Dept to complain about noise
Life is good up here on the North Fork
