A little Kamchatka neat washed down now and then with a little PBR beer, nothing fancy, but it tastes good!

Enjoying my hydromel (Mead under 10% Abv, ~9.5% in this case) after aging for 6 months, I was wrong at the 3 month mark. The yeast flavor subsided and brought out the floral notes and a subtle perceived sweetness, it's still bone dry but the honey character helps give the idea of sweetness.
I highly recommend Monkey Shoulder. Found it overseas years ago and for the price, the taste, and as a blend of single malt whiskeys, imo it's hard to beat.Curious as to your opinion - if it is good, then that's a good value.
Agreed if you want a friendly budget scotch. If you want something with peat Laphroig Select is only a few bucks more.I highly recommend Monkey Shoulder. Found it overseas years ago and for the price, the taste, and as a blend of single malt whiskeys, imo it's hard to beat.
