Weaver TO-10 Top Mount/Adaptor for a Nylon 66

I'm wanting to mount a Red dot sight on my Rem. Nylon Model 66 and having a hard time finding one that will mount to it. I have been told a weaver mount TO-10 is what I need but after reading several reviews I'm wondering if anyone has used this mount on a model 66 and or if there is other mounts for a nylon 66. I contacted Remmington but there files don't go back that far to answer my question. All suggestion greatly appreciate. and thanks George
