Typically, we try to give a full 2 week notice. This one just started and is just under that two week mark. Usually they will be on a Saturday.

Thanks for your desire to be there, Robert! We'll get you in on one!

For those who are interested, Far West recycling http://www.farwestrecycling.com/our-locations will pay up to $1.40 a pound for shotgun shells (that amount may be lower, they gave me an estimate).

Metro metals NW also pays for shotgun shells. I dont know the price though
http://metrometalsnw.com/

For those out at the clean up, if you want to keep a separate garbage bag for shotgun shells, earn a little bit of spending money at the same time.

The shot gun shells are apparently ankle deep out at Browns Camp Quary. We should consider a clean up there next.

I met with Randy today. I got about 100 tough garbage bags for us. we designated a small turnoff back towards the highway as the place to dump the garbage bags for them to clean up. The bags are marked that it was a volunteer clean up so someone doesnt think we are just dumping trash on the side of the road

oK9ZJlP.jpg

Randy wanted to make sure people (especially who are bringing kids) that there is typically broken glass and other sharp objects in the debris to clean up so heavy gloves are recommended.

we are also allowed to put up a sign that says volunteers did the clean up if we want.
