When it comes to liberty I am a single issue voter. Do you support more taxation for social programs? if so then you support removing or restricting my rights , do you support more government regulation? If so you support further curtailing those rights.. Interestingly enough that applies to guns as well. It has been my experience those who vote for the other side on the whole support issues which affect me, financially , and from a individual liberty perspective.n true but only to a gun rights voter. Not everyone is a single issue voter like that, and the majority probably never will be. If gun rights refuses to accept and strategize around that then weve already lost. If we want to win gun rights needs to become a bipartisan issue.
So what good does it do if a liberal owns a gun when they still vote for those who would curtail freedom on every level ?
