Anyway, point is wasn't EXACTLY the same sentiment expressed all over the treads on Red Flag Laws, that the law would be used to target conservatives and gun owners specifically because of they are conservatives and gun owners?

And don't the proponents of Red Flag Laws also say "Well they are, so . . . "

I know no one want's to hear this, but the only way to defeat any future 114 type laws in Oregon is going to be finding allies on those issues whatever their other positions are

If i understand correct, NY requires a review of all your social media profiles before issuing a CHL.

114 allows a broad descretion in determining who gets a purchase permit.

No. This wasn't a bill created by the Legislature and signed by the Governor. It was an initiative started by a petition and voted into law by the People.

Which should not be acknowledged as it would prevent my ability to exercise my 2A right to Arms. If 114 is enacted, there is no current path to complete the process. There could be arbitrary roadblocks, say your 4H club is listed as a nationalist group.

The constitution is about the individual and our freedoms, founders thought gun rights were very important to control government and defend life and property.
