Sorry, I have to rant a bit...
From The Columbian website August 2nd, 2013:
Deputies arrested two men for an apparent gang-related shooting outside of a Sifton-area bar early Friday morning.
A 12:33 a.m. 911 call brought deputies to the Avenue Restaurant and Bar, 9115 N.E. 117th Ave., where there was a reported disturbance with possible shots fired.
Deputies followed a vehicle they spotted leaving the bar and arrested the two people inside, Johny Hudson, 24, and Javontae N. Gibson, 19, for the alleged shooting that happened in the parking lot area of the restaurant, Clark County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Duncan Hoss said.
Mr. Gibson , while probably Innocent (At least until proven otherwise), has been arrested for similar offenses several times in the past year.
PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) - December 17, 2012
Portland police investigating reports of shots fired ended up arresting two men on unrelated charges.
Officers stopped Javontae Gibson and Brandon Lewis early Friday morning at NE Fremont Street and N. Williams Avenue.
They said that the men were in a car similar to one seen leaving the scene of a shooting at NE Rodney Avenue and NE San Rafael Street.
A search of the car allegedly turned up a loaded handgun in the glove box.
Mr. Gibson was arrested and charged with Felony Theft, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm. He was released on bail- Multnomah County Sheriff.
Mr. Gibson was arrested on January 1, 2013 for Disorderly Conduct, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm. He was released on bail- Multnomah County Sheriff.
Mr. Gibson was arrested on February 12, 2013 for Trespass, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm. He was released on bail- Multnomah County Sheriff.
Mr. Gibson was arrested on August 2, 2013 for "Drive By Shooting" and is being held pending arraignment in the Clark County Jail.
Four separate arrests (two related to shootings) in the last 8 months and he is only 19. Don't they revoke bail for someone when they commit additional offenses?
Why was this guy on the loose?
