Is that a locust tree under that beautiful firearm ?.45 caliber Flintlock Longrifle.
Excellent looking and excellent shooting rifle .

Rifle made in 1973.

I have one similar. I just looked and it is a Iver Johnson. Looks like its twin. Can't hit a barn if you were standing inside. Lots of dry firing marks.- square instead of half moon firing pin cut outs on the cylinder. It needs help.View attachment 1880357
My H&R 649 .22 LR revolver.
Given to me by my dad on my 13th birthday.
Lots of memories with this gun.

My Savage Model 19/33 NRA Match rifle...circa 1946
A neat looking...excellent shooting and even with it being a "Match" rifle...easy to carry rifle.
The sling is also a favorite...A Montana Gunsling.

5 shots...off hand at 50 yards
It is...makes for an interesting time fitting into a gun sock...Holy rear sight, batman! That thing is huge!
Also, nice shooting!
That is cool looking . At 1st I thought it was a Desert Eagle .Another uncommon one from the collection. The CZ vz.38. was adopted as the new sidearm for the Czechoslovak military, only to have Germany invade 4 days later. Production did continue under the Germans but only a small number would end up being produced.

Nice condition . Did you do trigger install yourself ?Showed this pistol previously (police surplus Sig P226 DAO). But now I've ended up converting it to the proper DA/SA trigger, and also removed the mag disconnect safety that was installed per whatever department required such an awful thing. The parts kit was only $60ish, so well worth it for a modern classic such as this one.

Yeah, it's not the most difficult thing in the world, simpler than an AR lower build for the most part, for example. The only part that really needed replacing was the hammer, everything else was just adding parts that weren't there to begin with (decocking lever, decocker bearing, and decocker spring).Nice condition . Did you do trigger install yourself ?
