Yep, this incident reminded me of that one - I just couldn't remember where it had happened. As I recall, the officer was completely cleared of any charges in that case.

Not to thread steal, but for you younger folks, the Studebaker Avanti came out in 1963 and lasted about a year.
It came with a 289cid, 240hp V-8. A Paxton Super charger was an option! You may have guessed that I love these things!
