What are the requirements for selling firearms between WA and OR?
Does the same apply for both handguns and rifles?

if you are a private person and want to sell to a private party it has to go through an FFL holder in the buyer's state, as far as I know.

All private party sales between states requires an FFL by the GCA of 1968 (federal law).
Long gun sales may use an FFL in either state.
Pistol sales require the FFL to be in the buyer's state and the seller must either bring the gun to the FFL or have it shipped to the FFL.
