Ruger LCR .357 Mag Hammer spring switch-out?

Has anyone on the site experimented with the hammer spring on their LCR .357 Mag. My LCR is "hammerless" and the trigger pull is stooout. I have been looking online, there are several aftermkt springs I can switch out. However, Im hoping for some input. Im really starting to appreciate this site, what a wealth of information in this community! I would love like to hear if anyone has had luck. And, if so, where did you find that happy dependable hammer strike?

I'd start with a call to Ruger.
My lcr .38 had a very smoke trigger pull , with completely reliable ignition.
Wondering if yours is not completely to spec.
