SB 5078 does not allow "distribution" on or after July 1. A gun shop will not be allowed to give you the magazine on or after July 1

It's beinshipped thru the mail.SB 5078 does not allow "distribution" on or after July 1. A gun shop will not be allowed to give you the magazine on or after July 1
Thanks for the articulate reply....it was very helpful. Let's hope you don't actually work with human beings.1. Who cares? They won't come looking for you.
2. Why would you put that on the internet?
If it is shipped by mail directly to your residence, and it arrives July 1 or after, I doubt WA state will go after USPS for importing into the state. WA state also will likely not become aware of it arrives to you July 1. Be advised even if found out and prosecuted it is an infraction (ticket). It's beinshipped thru the mail.
I've no doubt it would boggle the mind. Over the past 4 months, half probably went in during the first 3.5months... and the other half in the last 2 weeks.I have to wonder how many millions of new magazines have been brought into WA leading up to this stupid ban.

I know I'm personally responsible for about 200 of 'em...I've no doubt it would boggle the mind. Over the past 4 months, half probably went in during the first 3.5months... and the other half in the last 2 weeks.
The way it reads if it shows up on the date they are illegal technically you are in violation of the law. Some places will not ship if the delivery date is not before the 7/1 deadlineI ordered a 12 rd mag today. Arrival time is between 6/9 and 7/1. IF it arrives on 7/1 will that be illegal? It's paid for already.
FIFYI interpret the law to reflect that the purchase/sale was made prior to the date, and as long as it's in transit within the boundary of Washington statebybefore 7/1, it is not considered importation.

That assclown needs to be recalled...Looks like Bob is looking do more because of the success of this mag ban
Like any ban, they are not worried about sales prior to it taking effect. The ban effectively freezes the magazine count in place on July 1st. If there were 1 million magazines in Washington on July 1st, 2022, there will be <1 million magazines in Washington on July 1st, 2023.I know I'm personally responsible for about 200 of 'em...
What can I say? Jackboot Jay and Sideshow Bob made me do it...
It is astounding how stupid the idiot Inslee and the turd are. All their petty stunt has done is bring in thousands if not millions of "hicap" magazines and built the foundation of a new black market.I know I'm personally responsible for about 200 of 'em...

Howdaya figger there will be less? Losses due to wear and tear? People leaving the state for freer pastures?Like any ban, they are not worried about sales prior to it taking effect.
