My opinion, if anyone deserves having the flag flown at half-staff in his honor, it's Lee Ermey. He did more for the country in his own way than many a politician. His gritty depictions of military service have given non-veterans insights that they mightn't otherwise have gotten. I'm very sorry to see him go, 74 wasn't all that old by today's standards of longevity.

I lost it when the piper started the Battle Hymn of the Republic and then went into the Marine's Hymn. Piper's always either get my blood up or make me cry.
