Danny Pruitt was shot in the head by a protestor who shot into his vehicle. Protestors said he drove fast through an intersection. Nearby business surveillance footage shows that to be a lie. The shooter is a 27 yo attorney. Danny Pruitt, a disabled veteran and single father, is on life support.

I agree but look at the "crowd" -- this was 12 person protest in a small town with the streets open to traffic. I can't really fault him for driving there -- before seeing this I'm sure I would have.

I witnessed an actual peaceful protest on Saturday... about 100 were bussed into Hermiston (the bus parked safely in the Wal☆Mart lot) which represents about a 500% increase over the organically raised protesters earlier in the week.

They stayed out of the road. They chanted. They waved signs. They solicited horn honks from the traffic on US 395. They were SO peaceful that I thought it was a school or church fundraiser car wash til I got close enough to read the signs. Also, no underage girls in bikinis (I really HATE that).

What I DIDN'T see was agitators or violence. No LE presence that I could determine... no real need.

I left Hermie @ 0500 Sunday morning. No police tape. No graffiti. No empty CS canisters. No skulls mashed into the ground or broken bodies in the street.

Congratulations to the Hermiston protesters (wherever you came from... no telltale markings on the bus) for not crossing the line and becoming a tragedy. I'll never join your protest, and I have very little respect for BLM or their stated Marxist agenda, but you managed to show others what an actual peaceful protest looks like. IMO, as soon as a protest spills into the streets and becomes a danger to others it ceases being peaceful or lawful.

"Mostly peaceful" has become a punchline. Even sympathetic reporters are having a hard time finding an area to report from that doesn't have some kind of chaos as a backdrop. "Mostly peaceful" is a lie.

When my boys were younger there were a couple of instances where some other kid did something stupid in their company and, of course, got caught.

Unfortunately the odds are against it happening.

This could well be the most important election in our lifetimes. American patriots better hit the ballot box like NEVER before otherwise the fight is lost.
At that point the choice will be to live in a socialst society or pop a couple people, having no real effect on anything, and spending your remaining years in the gulags

There will be no grand conflict... they are poised to take over without an actual fight, nevermind the actions of individual goons like this fool... they already own the media/entertainment/sports world.... as well as big tech and most of corporate America. All that is left is for them to claim governmental power and its finished.

"Cancel Culture" will then have the force of law... when saying "all lives matter" wont just get you fired or shunned.... it will get you locked up.

Extremely unlikely that it would be first degree murder. First degree would be next to impossible to prove from what I've seen, besides they charged him with attempted second degree murder, so if the victim dies, then it would be "successful" second degree murder.

The guy in Seattle who shot a protestor who was beating him through his car window while his car was surrounded by 10+ people some of whom were trying to break its windows, is still in jail.
