Powder trickler question.

I am using a slightly modified manual Hornady, but before the mod I did prefer the RCBS.

Yes, it's off a roll.

I bought the Hornady electronic trickler for about $45 and never looked back. Hand tricklers are prehistoric. Just push the button and done. No more turning the know and they work great on all types of powder.

When the grid is down or the batteries are toast, a powder trickler will keep on "keeping on". Worse case scenerio is a 'coffee' scoop and a cup, combined with a calibrated tap of the finger on the scoop!

Oh yeah! Sometimes "ONE STICK" is what brings it to right where it needs to be. Need a balance scale to tell for sure though.

I was going to suggest a French Trickler, but took the high-road and didn't.

Same. Because the base was hollow, I filled mine with lead shot and glued a plate on the bottom, felt cloth underneath it. Doesn't move. It's just slow to drop powder. The French Trickle is much faster.
