Churches have the same rights as anyone else to "interfere" with the state. The State has no right to establish or interfere with a church (with a few exceptions). Like the constitution tells what the state can not do to the individual, not what the individual can do to the state. Many of these issues are one way streets. The first amendment says anyone can use a bully pulpit to influence people and in turn policies....,,,no matter how crazy the balance of us think they are.Since when was the church allowed to interfere with the state!

You know that the first state supreme court upheld assault weapon bans and liberal east coast states that this is going to fly right through siding the exact wordage from the other court rulings.
Slice it and I said I tell you it's the same thing because liberals all stick together.

No faith in the court either--but I DO have faith that the wheels of justice will move at their usual pace. Which probably means this thing is effectively dead this cycle. Highly unlikely they will even get it on the calendar before July 6.You're not wrong; I don't place any faith in the Oregon Supreme Court but the battle must be joined wherever reasonably possible.
Maybe. The calendar looks a bit full for June--- Untitled DocumentThis will move faster than light thru the Oregon Supreme Court and on to the voters...
We need to start telling the legislature, in a very loud united voice, with a bit of a growl, that this schmit won't be tolerated and that we will send them to political purgatory the next election cycle.
Brown shirts, the whole lot of 'em...
Feeling a lot like Germany circa 1939...
