Actually no sir it is not 100 % and has been debunked multiple times including during the era it was written, The jungle was full of many lies and fabrications that were popular among the socialist movement of the time in an attempt grow the ranks of socialism in America.

Upton was a socialist however the things he outlined in his book are all 100% true. The super rich exist to get richer.
I personally believe they have a mental disease that causes them to hoard valuables & they will die, cheat & steal to find ways to keep ever larger piles of valuables
